Meet Our FoundersDan “Papa Bird” MartelDan is the founding father behind Hatch with almost 30 years experience in the industry. Once a traditional mortgage broker, Dan realized that the process of obtaining a mortgage was outdated. With an increasing number of clients preferring to communicate electronically, he realized that an easy-to-use online tool was a much better way to ensure mortgage-seekers were kept happy. He believes that homebuyers and homeowners deserve to be in control and that the process should be relaxed. His dream is to bring simplicity and freedom to the mortgage industry with Hatch. Daniel’s license number is M08003773. Chantale “Mamma Bird” MartelChantale is the Brand Director for Hatch. With experience in writing and a flair for the creative, she was able to bring Hatch to a whole new level by applying a friendly personality to the Hatch brand. Introducing her love of animals, especially birds, Chantale tied it all together and created the helpful birdie character that assists Hatch’s users along the way.
